We are seeking to appoint an inspirational leader to this newly created role, with the vision to devise and implement a strategy for creating, developing, and embedding links and impactful partnerships with Catholic stakeholders into the fabric of the University, in line with our strategic plan.
As a member of the university’s Leadership Team and an attendee of University Executive Board, the Director of Catholic Mission will work alongside colleagues institution wide, forging links with Catholic stakeholders, representing Leeds Trinity at national and international forums. The role will be an ambassador for the University’s social teaching with both internal and external stakeholders. Teaching, supervision and scholarship duties may form part of the role for a candidate with the appropriate skills and experience to contribute to our academic portfolio.
The ideal candidate will have a track record of developing and maintaining impactful networks and partnerships to support Catholic mission. They will also have relevant experience of teaching, research and/or scholarship. This should be complemented by strong leadership skills with the ability to create a culture of excellence, enhancement, collaboration, and respect, underpinned by strongly held values. Candidates should possess a PhD/Professional Doctorate and/or significant high-level professional experience with a strong record of intellectual engagement on issues to do with strategic working, such as politics, international relations, and public policy in relation to Higher Education.
