We are seeking to appoint an exceptional leader for the newly created role of Director of Global Engagement.
The postholder will lead on the development of the University’s strategy and vision for international development, which will involve reviewing practice and driving a clear international agenda, with a critical focus on the external market and the identification of opportunities to maximise international partnership recruitment and income, international knowledge exchange and research partnerships, leading on internationalising the curriculum and reputation building activities for the University through Transnational Education (TNE) collaborative partnerships.
You will have a comprehensive understanding of the global education landscape and the complexities of the international external environment. You will be skilled at interpreting this information and advising on the possible implications for the University’s position, strategy and operational implementation. You will have a partnership approach to international market development and be agile in responding to changing external drivers.
This role will require a clear strategic thinker with strong influencing skills and an outstanding track record of maintaining effective personal and professional relationships both inside the University and with external partners, including industry.
