Within the Institute of Childhood and Education, the Department of Children, Young People and Families has a strong tradition of teaching a range of high-quality, successful and innovative programmes. Following a recent review of our portfolio we are continuing to invest and grow our already strong team of professionals. To support our on-going developments, we are looking to appoint enthusiastic, collaborative, high-performing academic members of staff.
The successful applicants will have opportunities to contribute to teaching across the full range of our activity, at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, across work-based degree level qualifications and short courses aimed at continual professional development. To be successful in these posts you will bring relevant experience and be able to think creatively and work flexibly as a collaborative member of the team. You will also be able and willing to take a lead role in programme coordination and/or projects that contribute to developments across the Department, the Institute and the University.
Experience of successful teaching and/or leading within the fields of early childhood, children, young people and families is essential. Applicants should be able to demonstrate an ability to effectively contribute to teaching, research, curriculum development and partnership activities.
